Project has been awarded but award amount was not confirmed. The Centralia City School District #135 Board of Education, will receive bids for the gymnasium roof and mansard roof replacement work at Centralia Junior High, Centralia, IL 62801. A. Work to be Bid: 1. Work to be covered by the bid shall include demolition of gymnasium roofing system, and demoli tion of mansard roof. Install new 30-year TPO membrane gymnasium roof, new wood blocking, flashings, edge metal, gut ters, downspouts, and all associated work described in the construction documents. Install new metal, framing, and EIFS at mansard roof system, and all associated work described in the construction documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Roofing Contractor 2. Specialty Contractor. Bid security payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, shall be executed by the Bidder in the form of certified check, bank draft, or acceptable surety. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Payment and Performance Bond. Contractor must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with Illinois Wages of Employees of Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Wages printed in the Project Manual are for the month of bidding only. Certified Payroll is re quired to be submitted with all Pay Applications. Successful bidders Will be required to perform and provide criminal background checks on all contractors, subcontractors and their employees, agents, or assigns that will be employed on this project prior to commencement of work, at the Contractor's expense. Bidding Procedure: 1. No faxed bids will be accepted. 2. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informalities in the bidding. 3. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of Ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Bidding Schedule: The Owner anticipates all work contemplated in the Construction Documents shall com mence June 1, 2023 and be finally complete no later than August 4, 2023.
