Site work for a water / sewer project in New Site, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of Dec 6 the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established . The Project is generally described as follows: Labor Only to extend water service from the existing 8" main on Alabama Highway 49 and Deer Trail Road; continue along Deer Trail Road with a 6" water main to the intersection of Deer Trail Road and Simpson Road; continue along Simpson Road with a 6" main that will reduce to a 3" prior to its terminus point at the intersection of Simpson Road and Doe Lane. The project will also include an extension of 3" water mains along Old Dutch Road and Narrow Lane Road. Water service connections to approximately 47 residents along Simpson Road and water service connections to poultry farms located on Narrow Lane Road are part of this project. Material will be at project site. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, bidder's license number, address, and name of the project. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids.
