Renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Eglin, Florida. Working plans call for the renovation of a 12,732-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; and for the addition of a 14,725-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility.

Construction Phase Services to Expand the Baggage Claim at the Destin - Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS). A terminal expansion addition will be constructed on the East side of the existing main terminal facility in order to expand the capacity of the baggage claim lobby. This requirement of the east terminal and baggage claim addition consists of a building addition of 14,725 SF of interior space, 6,020 SF addition of covered canopy, and renovation of 12,732 SF of existing baggage claim and office spaces. Additions to this area include a relocated east entrance, space for expansion of rental car ticket counters and customer que, expanded baggage claim lobby, two additional sloped plate baggage claim carousels, and replacing the existing two baggage claim belts with like components. There is also a utilities component to relocate and extend various utilities to avoid the new construction footprint and extend the canopy on the air side. Fencing, covered walkways, sitework, and landscaping make up other components of the project.
