This project entails the maintenance of traffic; installation and maintenance of erosion sediment control; saw cutting of existing concrete; the demolition of existing curb, sidewalks and alley mat; placement of HMA bituminous concrete, concrete alley mat, sidewalk and curb; the installation of topsoil, seed and mulch; and all labor, material, time, and appurtenances required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by the City of Hagerstown, MD. Length of Contract: Forty (40) working days is the length of the contract. Liquidated Damages: Liquidated damages are assessed at $ 300.00 per day. Funding: Funding for this project is provided by The City of Hagerstown, Maryland. The separate Bid Booklet attachment shall be completed by the Bidder & submitted as the Sealed Proposal. 10% Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check to be submitted with the Sealed Proposal. The successful Bidder shall submit a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor & Materials Payment Bond upon award of contract. Notice to Proceed will be issued for a mutually agreed to date between the City of Hagerstown and the successful bidder.
