Site work and paving for a civil project in Glidden, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Clay capping of approximately 4.9 km of Clearing the Path municipal roadway located in The RM of Newcombe No. 260. Subcontractors require written approval as this may affect the RM of Newcombe receiving RIRG grants. Major items of work include: - Rehabilitation of a graveled roadway structure, 8.6 meter road top and 4:1 side-slopes varying throughout to 3:1 to stay within the right-of-way. - Remove and Replace Stripping along side-slopes and various backslopes. - Subgrade Preparation - 6,650 m3. - Install 68,750 m3 of Prepared Clay Cap for 4.9 kilometers. - Install 54 meters of CSP 400 mm culvert (3 RM supplied Culverts). - Install 250 meters of CSP 600 mm culvert (8 RM supplied Culverts). - Incorporate Traffic Gravel for 4.9 kilometers. (RM supplied Gravel) - Two areas of grade reduction subcut.
