Renovation of a municipal facility in West Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Scope of work for Base Bid and Alternate No. 1 includes demolition of existing roof system down to gypsum deck, minor roof deck repair and replacement of entire roof system. Demolition and replacement of all associated sheet metal components and accessories are included as noted on drawings. Base Bid and Alternate No. 1 are only different in the type of new roof system to be installed. Construction Cost Range: $100,000 to $150,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. 1. Base Bid: Demolition and removal of existing low slope roof system down to the roof deck for replacement with a new fully adhered PVC/KEE roof system. 2. Alternate No. 1: Scope of work includes the installation of a two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane in lieu of a fully adhered PVC/KEE roof membrane. All other requirements remain unchanged. Associated sheet metal components and accessories are included. All applicable specifications sections/details apply if alternate is accepted. 3. Removal of all existing sheet metal and all associated components indicated to be replaced with new. 4. Removal of all abandoned equipment is required with roof deck properly repaired.
