The Board of Supervisors of Tazewell County, Virginia is currently accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors to repair existing trails and build new trails at Cavitt's Creek Park. GENERAL INFORMATION I. A responsible bidder will: (A) Provide proof that employee(s) responsible for building and repairing trails have appropriate contractor licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia (B) Provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence and Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) in the aggregate. (C) Verify that the bidder's company is in compliance with all workers' compensation laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Virginia. (D) Provide a list of equipment available to the bidder to deploy on the project and the anticipated hours of labor the bidder intends to expend on the project. (E) Provide proof of bidder's corporate status, including verification by the Virginia State Corporation Commission and corporate documents, where applicable. II. A responsive bid will state a lump sum quote in addition to a quote per footage. Such quote must include materials and labor for performing the improvements indicated on the attached sheet. Any and all questions regarding this Request for Proposals and the Tazewell County Board of Supervisors it represents must be submitted in writing to: C.
