The Department of Corrections (DOC) is requesting bids for a Contractor to provide janitorial services at the Probation and Parole District #5 office, hereinafter referred to as the Purchasing Agency. Janitorial services shall be provided two (2) days per week, to be mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Purchasing Agency, to be scheduled after the operating hours of 8:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The office consists of 3,000 square feet including: Twelve (12) rooms, three (3) bathrooms, one (1) kitchenette, and one (1) main lobby (reception area). Service Area: Statewide The contract period will be for one (1) year from the date of award through one year and renewable in accordance with Section III, Paragraph D. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
