Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 36 The Cégep du Vieux Montréal is requesting, through this call for tenders, tenders in order to award a contract for the maintenance of four (4) elevators and twenty (20) escalators in its buildings located at 255 rue Ontario East in Montreal and at 2040 avenue Hôtel de Ville in Montreal. The duration of the contract is 3 years, from December 1 , 2022 to November 30, 2025, in addition to 2 renewal options of one year each, from December 1 , 2025 to November 30, 2026 and from December 1 , 2026 to November 30, 2026. November 2027. Tenders may be transmitted electronically and such transmission may only be made through the electronic tendering system. If a BIDDER wishes to ask a question or obtain a clarification on any aspect of the Call for Tenders or the Call for Tenders Documents, he must send, in writing, to sourcing@cvm.qc.ca any question or request for clarification relating to the Invitation to Tender Documents to the file manager identified at the beginning of this document. The PUBLIC BODY reserves the right not to consider a request for clarification made by a TENDERER if this request is sent to it less than THREE (3) working days before the deadline date and time set for the receipt of the Tenders. Only will be considered for the purposes of the admissibility of a contractor for the presentation of a tender, the tender of the contractor having an establishment where he exercises his activities on a permanent basis in Quebec, clearly identified in his name and accessible during the normal business hours or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement, and holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, c .B.-1.1). Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency, the conformity of their licenses and for the content of their tenders. All tenders must be submitted in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies (RSQ, c. C-65.1, r.3) adopted under the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (RSQ, c . C-65.1). The Cégep du Vieux Montréal does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received, in particular when it deems that the prices are too high or disproportionate or do not reflect a fair price.
