As of December 05, 2022, the owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The project is expected to be released for bid in February or March 2023. The previous solicitation has been included below for reference. The Project is to be designed and constructed in two phases using the progressive design-build delivery method: Phase 1 - Pre-construction Services, Design, and GMP Development: Prepare design to 30% complete, as defined in Attachment B (Scope of Progressive Design-Builder Services), and a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal to be submitted by DB following favorable review of the 30% design package; Phase 2 - Construction Services: Complete design (issue construction documents), construction, and post-construction tasks, including performance testing, startup commissioning and operator training and support (if GMP or lump-sum price is approved by the Owner in preconstruction phase). EWA reserves the right to revise the RFQ prior to the date that SOQs are due. Revisions to the RFQ will be emailed to all contractors who have registered at the EWA website. EWA reserves the right to extend the date by which the SOQs are due. This RFQ does not commit EWA to award a contract, to defray any costs incurred in the preparation of SOQs pursuant to this RFQ, or to procure or contract for work. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range $550,000 - $900,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
