Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Cosumnes Community Services District of Sacramento County, California, will receive sealed bids as follows: Town Square Park Revitalization Project Scope: The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the renovation of an existing park, including but not limited to the following: clearing, grubbing, demolition, removal of existing equipment, grading, import soil, irrigation, planting, and electrical work. The scope also includes installation of: concrete flatwork, curbs, decomposed granite, site furnishings, a shade structure, half basketball court, play equipment, fitness equipment, wood fiber, and other appurtenances, as required for a complete project. Award of this contract requires a valid California contractor's license with the classifications identified above. Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3400(b), the District has made findings designating certain materials, products, things, or services by specific brand or trade name, such findings and the materials, products, things, or services and their specific brand or trade names are set forth in the Special Provisions of the project specifications. This is a "construction" project in accordance with Section 1771.5 of the California Labor Code. Pursuant to California Contract Code Section 22300, the contractor may, at its own expense, substitute securities for any money being withheld by the Cosumnes Community Services District to ensure performance under this contract.
