This project is located at 3820 Sam Rayburn Highway, Melissa, TX 75454. This project includes approximately 600,000 cubic yards of excavation between January 9, 2023 and February 5, 2024. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to North Texas Municipal Water District in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Performance and Payment Bonds are required, each in an amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. This project is located at 3820 Sam Rayburn Highway, Melissa, TX 75454. The North Texas Municipal Water District reserves the right to adopt the most advantageousinterpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices,to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days fromdate on which bids are opened. The deadline to ask questions is 10/18/2022 2:00 PM CST
