Memorial Park Community Center maintenance staff is seeking quotes for refinishing wood floors. The project will be included in the FY2022-2023 budget; the work is to be completed during the Christmas/New Year 2022 holiday season, (December 19, 2022 Reopen on January 9 2023). Exact dates to be determined. The quote must state the number of days and time required for the work to be performed - work must be completed within those days, the building is closed to the public. The floors require sanding down to the wood surface, refinishing with adequate number of coats of waterborne finish. The areas to be done are: Gymnasiums 1 and 2: Approximate size of this area is 14,550 sq. ft. Exercise/Dance Room: Approximate size of this area is 950 sq. ft. In addition, the gymnasiums will require pickle ball court lines on both courts, three courts on each gym, for a total of six pickleball courts; lines for basketball on both courts; and lines for volleyball on both courts. Quote must include all labor, materials and freight charges. MPCC maintenance staff will remove all trash cans, mats,chairs and sports equipment from the gym and exercise room floors and clean the floors before the contractor commences work. Insurance and general contract requirements must be met before purchase order is awarded. The attached documents list requirements for this project. The vendor is responsible for measurements.
