No bids received , no definite date for rebid** Lake Placid Village Inc. is soliciting Request for Information (RFI) from qualified proposers to provide Main Street Corridor Flowers and Greenery Planting. The Village of Lake Placid has issued a Request for Information (RFI) from local garden supply stores, landscapers and nurseries that can plant and/or supply seasonal flora on the main street corridor. The Village of Lake Placid will complete a $15,000,000 renovation of its Main Street by November of 2022. Incorporated into the renovation was a mandate by the funding source to include attractive and functional green spaces. To accomplish this mandate, the Village purchased 35 large concrete planters, which all feature a self-watering system, and 10 smaller concrete planters. The planters are strategically placed on both sides of the main street from Brewster Park to the Municipal Parking lot. The focus of this RFI is to request pricing and a planting plan for; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The large planter's exterior sizing is 36" high x 36" diameter. Interior sizing is 33" high by 32" diameter. The self-watering system consists of a reservoir, wick, inlet, and drainage hole. The smaller pots have an exterior size of 24" high by 30" in diameter and will include the same selfwatering system as the large pots. Rocks, sand and potting soil are layered appropriately to allow for proper drainage in the container. CR Number: 2091186
