The work will include the rehabilitation of approximately 55 manholes within the Lehigh County Authority, Western Lehigh Interceptor Sewer System. Question Deadline 10/21/2022 at 4:00 PM ET Bid Bond: 10% It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall have a minimum of 5 years experience and at least 10 completed projects of similar nature to the Work required by this Project. The Scope of Work shall include locating existing manholes, repair and/or rehabilitate the manhole castings and the necessary surface restoration, as noted on the Contract Plans and in the project Specifications. Site access will be available through LCA easements. The Contractor shall supply all materials, plant, labor and equipment necessary to properly install and perform the respective items of the Contract. Any apparatus, material and labor not hereinafter specifically mentioned or shown on the Drawings, which may be necessary to complete or perfect any portion of the Work in a substantial manner and in compliance with the requirements implied or intended in the Specifications, shall be furnished by the Contractor without additional compensation. This shall include all materials, devices and methods peculiar to the apparatus or system furnished and installed by the Contractor. The Work will include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Locate, excavating and exposing identified manhole. 2. Provide the required manhole repairs and/or rehabilitation as noted. 3. Backfill and compaction, as may be required. 4. Surface restoration. 5. Salvage existing manhole castings to LCA. 6. Traffic control, as required.
