The Middlesex County Administrator's Office is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor and materials to construct an outdoor basketball court at 2784 General Puller Highway, Saluda, Virginia. In general, the project includes; Excavate and install an 84 by 50 outdoor basketball court, with a 10-foot perimeter Install basketball goals Add perimeter fencing with gate Stripe court with standard high school basketball markings. AND Alternate Bid: Same as above, but cover court with interlocking tiles with pre-printed court striping in lieu of striping the concrete. Bidders may submit either a turnkey concrete basketball court or a turnkey solution with interlocking tiles over concrete, or both. Current funded project does not include the interlocking tiles surface. The location, 2784 General Puller Highway, Saluda, Virginia, is accessed via a paved road off General Puller Highway, and is adjacent to the skate park.
