Bid Valid 180 days Project Duration 3 Year Contract, with option to renew for up to (2) additional years Pre-Bid Meeting No Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 10/12/2022 10:00 AM (PDT) This Invitation for Bid describes the City of Pomona's requirements for supply and delivery of sodium chloride (salt) for potable water treatment, purchases will be made on an as-needed basis. The City of Pomona estimates its annual usage of sodium chloride to be estimated at approximately 7,000 tons per year. Sodium Chloride is to be delivered in quantities of approximately 25 tons per shipment to City location identified below. Annual tonnage quantities are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Quantities may increase or decrease based on need. The expected term of agreement shall be fixed for three (3) years from date of Council award, with the option to renew for up to two (2) additional years, in one (1) year increments. Please note that per Section 2-971(2) of the Pomona City Code, any unauthorized contact by the bidder during the bid or proposal process with an official or city employee, other than those shown on the RFP or bid, the Finance Director, or Purchasing Manager, shall cause the bidder to be immediately disqualified from participating in the bidding process.
