The Town of Whitecourt is seeking professional consulting services to review the findings of previous studies, and identify any other solutions to increase capacity and performance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. All options (from previous studies and newly-identified) must be presented with a high level review of both capital and operating costs with realistic and achievable recommendations for long term upgrades to accommodate growth of the community over the next 25-50 years. The successful proponent will also identify and propose odor mitigation techniques, such as the relocation of bio solids settling ponds, and explore their feasibility (high-level review). In addition to the proposal submission, please provide the following information: a. A certificate of insurance including a comprehensive general liability for an amount of not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000.00). The certificate must be provided prior to the commencement of any contract. b. Details of the firm's Safety Program, including but not limited to CSTS, WHMIS, H2S and First Aid certifications. A brief description of the company's safety policies and procedures shall also be included; and c. Proof of Worker's Compensation (W.C.B) Clearance; The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
