Completed plans call for the addition of a 265-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.

The Proposal Form shall be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (ten percent) of the Total Bid for one year, but not more than $20,000.00. Check or Surety Company Bid Bond shall be made payable to the City of East Orange, NJ. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids due to any defects or for not adhering to the Specifications or for any reason or to waive informalities and accept any bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the City of East Orange. The City Council reserves the right to sever and make awards of all or parts of any bids to one or more bidders. All bids must be presented in quadruplicate on the Proposal Forms provided and bids not on the Proposal Forms so provided may be rejected. Appropriately checked literature must accompany each copy of the Proposal Form. Bids will be accepted by mail or may be delivered or presented at the date and time set at the place herein listed.
