The City of Woodstock will receive sealed bids to install approximately 1,200 feet of fence along a section of the southwest perimeter at the North Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1965 Tappan Street, Woodstock, IL. Award of the bid will be considered at a later meeting of the Woodstock City Council within at least thirty (30) days of the date of receiving bids. All bids received prior to the specified date and time, which meet or exceed the minimum specifications, will be considered by the City. The City will review each properly submitted bid and will make a selection based upon price, availability, quality and other features of the bid proposals. The City of Woodstock reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bids, and to select the bid that is considered to be the most advantageous to the City of Woodstock. Only bids and proposals submitted on forms prepared by the City of Woodstock will be considered. It shall be the responsibility of the lowest responsible bidder to remove and dispose of any spoils. The schedule for fence installation shall be approved by the Wastewater Treatment Superintendent. This contract shall include all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies for the installation of approximately 1,200 feet of chain link fence, terminal posts, line posts, top rail, and bottom tension wire. The Fence Shall be hot-dipped galvanized steel construction, including all ancillary components. The proposed fence shall be a seven (7) foot in height fence. The bid unit price shall include all costs for supervision, bonds, and insurance, administrative charges, labor, equipment, material, utility locates, and final cleanup. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
