Scope of Work: This project consists of constructing and installing replacement sewers and repairing and rehabilitation of existing sewers throughout the City of Cleveland. Work is scheduled on an as needed basis, for one (1) year or two (2) years. - The contractor is required to start construction within 48 hours of notification by the City of Cleveland. - The contractor is responsible for obtaining and purchasing necessary permits, per project, including Street Opening Permits from the City Of Cleveland's Division of Assessments & Licenses. The cost of permits is to be included in the pertinent sewer items. -The contractor is required to submit a CCTV recording and report of the sewer pipe repaired/replaced at the completion of the project. The cost of this work is to be included in the pertinent sewer items. -If it is determined that by-pass pumping is needed the cost of by-pass pumping is to be included in the pertinent sewer items and is to be performed at no additional cost to the City. - Per the direction of City Engineer, the contractor may be required to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays at designated locations. -The cost of main sewer point repair (approximately 30 feet or less) will be covered under the following special items: Labor Allowance, Material Allowance and Equipment.
