The Town of Amherstburg is located in Southwestern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower-tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The current population of the Town of Amherstburg is just over 21,000. The Town is seeking tenders from qualified contractors to supply all necessary labour and material required to complete maintenance works within the Smale Drain, Smale Drain Extension, and the Dauphin Drain including cleaning, brushing, excavation, erosion protection works, and leveling of excavated materials along agricultural lands. This work will also include the cleaning and flushing of four (4) agricultural access bridges within the Dauphin. Works on the Smale Drain and Smale Drain Extension will include the supply of all necessary labour, material, including site restoration and all necessary traffic control, all according to the attached plans and specifications provided by C.G.R Armstrong, P.Eng. Avrill, P.Eng.
