The Augusta Parks & Recreation Department seeks proposals from experienced consultants and/or consultant firms with a proven track record of leading organizations through strategic planning processes to coordinate and facilitate the development and implementation of its 2023 Strategic Plan. The objective of the strategic plan is to provide our community, elected officials and staff with specific direction to achieve departmental goals that align with the Departments newly developed mission and vision statement, and a clear and consistent vision for the future. The Parks & Recreation Department strives to achieve accreditation through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and the Strategic Plan must reflect this as a long-range priority. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
