The Bethany Home Road Storm Drain project, resulting from the Districts Maryvale Area Drainage Master Study, collects and conveys sheet flow that has historically flooded the Maryvale neighborhood in the City of Glendale. The project consists of a 10-year storm drain in Bethany Home Road that ultimately conveys flows to the New River through the Bethany Home Outfall Channel. The City of Glendale is the lead agency for project design and construction, and the District will contribute 50 percent of the project cost. Final design and construction schedule is dependent upon funding availability and partner commitment. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of October 07, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
