Upgrades to City of Toronto Washroom buildings. Parks, Forestry and Recreation also proposes developing a washroom enhancement program, with the aim of identifying opportunities and advancing additional retrofits and new builds for 2022-2023 and future years. The washroom enhancement program will follow a similar process to other capital enhancement programs, with construction following required technical assessments, planning and design for the specific project. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals from Consulting Services has been issued by the owner. The City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division is seeking interest from consulting firms to submit a detailed quotation to provide professional and technical services for the City-wide Washroom Enhancement Program Strategy and Pilot Project Implementation. The work is to include but not be limited to data analysis, asset management, asset planning, investigations, inspections, schematic and conceptual design, consultation, detail design development, cost estimate and budget, construction documents, tender and contract documents, tender administration, contract administration, project close-out and warranty inspection services as per the terms and conditions that form this Request for Proposal document. The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year from date of award. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
