Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Inspection/sounding, removal of all cracked, spalled, damaged and/or deteriorated concrete in select areas identified on the drawings to complete concrete repairs. Complete removal and replacement of all exterior sealant joints in the areas identified on the drawings.. Where noted, provide pedestrian coating system and vehicular traffic coating system after concrete repairs and sealant replacements. Project Location: Clemson ICAR Campus, Greenville, SC. Construction Cost Range: $500,000 - $600,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. A. The parking garage and pedestrian walkways as well as the academic building will remain completely functional during the construction work and shall be fully protected at all times. B. Protect adjacent horizontal, vertical, and other surfaces as well as surrounding grounds from construction, traffic and work at all times. C. Base Bid work includes the following: 1. Parking Garage Top Deck, designated stairs, and other structures. a. Sounding/inspection and removal of all damaged/delaminated/spalled/deteriorated concrete then prepare and refinish where noted on drawings. b. Crack repairs as noted on drawings. c. Self-leveling epoxy, where noted on drawings. d. Sounding/inspection and removal of all damaged/delaminated/spalled/deteriorated concrete. Prepare and repair all surfaces and provide pedestrian traffic coating system on designated stairs. e. Complete removal and replacement of all sealant joints and preformed sealants on top deck and structures above. f. Clean, prepare and prime top deck for vehicular traffic coating system on top deck of parking garage and pedestrian traffic coating on designated stairs. 2. Third Floor Terrace Campbell Center a. Sounding/inspection and removal of all damaged/delaminated/spalled/deteriorated concrete and stairs then prepare, repair, and coating system. b. Crack repairs as noted on drawings. c. Self-leveling epoxy, where noted on drawings. d. Pedestrian traffic coating system for third floor terrace and both stairs/stairwells.
