Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mechanicsville, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission is soliciting bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and means to perform painting and maintenance on three water storage tanks. Work is to include surface preparation, containment, painting of the interiors and exteriors, installation of equipment, and the performance of various repairs. Due Date for all Questions October 24, 2022 9:00 a.m. EST A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the base bid price must be submitted with the bid. If a certified check is provided, a letter from a bonding company must be provided indicating that the firm will be providing a Performance and Maintenance Bond after award and completion of the project. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the base bid price must be submitted after award. A Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% of the base bid price must be submitted after completion and acceptance of the project, and must remain in effect for one (1) year. The St. Mary's Metropolitan Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality in the proposals submitted when such waiver is in the best interest of the Commission.
