Renovation of a municipal facility in Gulfport, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Scope of Work:the project includes, but is not limited to,replacement of pier decking, wooden stringers, concrete caps, metal roofing, roofing structure, wooden handrail, and stainless-steel hardware, along with repairing concrete and installing riprap along the jetty. The City is NOT responsible for bids which are mailed to the wrong address or which arrive in the mail after the designated bid opening time. Bids may be delivered in person to the Office of Procurement prior to the bid opening at the time, date and location listed above. The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. However, the City of Gulfport reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. The successful bidder must adhere to the City's policy concerning non-discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This project is funded fully or partially with Federal funds provided through Mississippi Development Authority, utilizing Supplemental Community Development Block Grant Funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development; the successful bidder must comply with all applicable federal, state and local requirements contained in the Contract Documents, including but not limited to Section 3, Davis- Bacon Federal Wage Regulations, E-Verify, etc., as identified in the bid proposal packet as "HUD Contract Provision fo Construction Contracts".Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit a bid as any responsive, responsible bidder that qualifies as a Section 3 Business Concern will be given a preference during evaluation. A bidder selected forthis Project will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Section 3 requirements including, but not limited to,the hiring andcontracting decisions made ontheProject.
