Site work and paving for a civil project in Penfield, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Work included under this contract consists of the removal of the existing structures carrying Tyler Rd over Trib. to Abbot Run and Blackwell Rd over Trib. to Abbot Run consisting of an (approximate) 36" diameter corrugated metal pipe (Tyler Rd) and 17"x13" corrugated metal pipe (Blackwell Rd). The replacement for each structure will consist of a precast reinforced concrete box culvert & precast reinforced concrete end sections. The proposed replacement structure at each location will consist of the same 8'-0" normal clear span precast reinforced box culvert, with 6' rise (depressed 2') & providing 18' clear roadway width. Work also includes replacement of the driving surface aggregate, assoc. guiderail, rock lining & architectural surface trtmnt to exposed faces of the headwalls & wingwalls. Bidders for this project shall as of the bid opening date, be listed as PA Dept. of Transportation prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Cat S1. Engineer's Estimate: $100,000-$500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
