HVAC Improvements and Upgrades at Mount View Elementary School - This project is to include a building direct digital control (DDC) energy management system (EMS) to achieve precise control of all Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and provide the means to standardize control functions with energy saving strategies. Any new DDC components shall fully integrate with the existing building management system (BMS) workstation located at theMetropolitan Nashville Public Schools Facility & Grounds Maintenance Department, 1417 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217. It is intended that all newly constructed buildings be controlled using standalone microprocessor, web-based, BACnet-compliant DDC computer systems. All hardware, software, and miscellaneous equipment required to ensure that the EMS can be managed from MNPS' local area network (LAN) shall be provided as a part of the project. The HVAC controls contractor(henceforth referred to as the "Contractor") shall be responsible for all low-voltage wiring installation and must coordinate networking with MNPS' Technology Information Services (TIS) department. 1. No Offeror may withdraw their bid/proposal response within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bid/proposal security will be returned to all Offerors upon award of the contract or rejection of the bids/proposals. A Payment and Performance Bond is required for a contract award exceeding $100,000. The awarded firm shall submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond as a condition precedent to a contract or purchase order. Documentation of bonds shall be in a format acceptable to MNPS.
