Pool Renovations in Mountain View, Missouri The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects or to reject any or all bids and to readvertise and to rebid. The City of Mountain View hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry or national origin in consideration for an award. Federal Land and Water Conservation Funds are being used in this project, and all relevant federal, state, and local requirements apply. Prevailing Hourly Wage Rates Attention of Bidder is particularly called to the requirements as conditions of employment to be observed and that BIDDER must comply with the payment of hourly wage rates, including all fringe benefits, as established by the Wage Determination Sections 290.262 RSMo 2000 Wage Order No. 29 pertaining to the prevailing hourly rate of wages and including fringe benefits, as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A copy of each Determination will be provided prior to the bidding date. Bidder shall furnish an affidavit and documentation affirming their company is enrolled in and participates in E-Verify, and an affidavit stating the business does not knowingly employ illegal aliens. No bidder may withdraw their bid within Thirty 30 consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bidder is advised to visit the sites and develop, to their satisfaction, the scope of improvements, and the intent of the drawings and specifications. A portion of this bid involves grant funding from the Land and Water Conservation Fund for development of the Mountain View City Pool. The total cost for this project is $473,000 which includes 50% of Federal Funding totaling $236,500.
