Granite School District (GSD) is requesting the services of a General Contractor (B100) to perform an Auditorium Lighting Renovation at Bonneville Junior High School, 5330 Gurene Drive (1660 East), Holladay, Utah. Work shall include, but is not limited to: Remove and replace existing floor pockets on stage as directed on drawings. Remove, and replace with new, Auditorium ceiling fixtures Remove, and replace with new, step light fixtures. Remove, and replace with new, existing control station. Remove existing dimming rack and replace with new relay panel. Repair ceiling as required from removal of fixtures/devices and finish to match existing. Install GSD-supplied trim panels at all light fixture locations. (Allowance provided) Other work as indicated in the drawings and specifications Questions Due Date. Questions must be submitted by Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM. All questions must be submitted via the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P). Contractor is responsible for reviewing the responses to any questions posted to U3P and acknowledges that all responses become an integral part of the bid package and project requirements. BID BOND. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, at the time the bid is submitted, if the total bid amount for any job is $50,000 or greater. A full one hundred percent (100%) performance bond in the amount of the Preconstruction Compensation covering the faithful execution of the Preconstruction Work in accordance with the Contract Documents; A full one hundred percent (100%) performance bond in the amount of the Contract Price covering the faithful execution of the Construction Phase Work in accordance with the Contract Documents; A full one hundred percent (100%) payment bond in the amount of the Contract Price covering payment of all obligations relating to the Construction Phase Work arising under the Contract Documents, for the protection of each person supplying labor, service, equipment, or material for the performance of the Preconstruction Work
