The Weber County Sheriff's Office ("County") is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified and experienced architect/facility designers ("Proposer") that are interested in an opportunity to consult; conceptualize; design; prepare construction grade bid documents and specifications; provide construction administration services for addition, expansion, and remodel of the Weber County Sheriff's Office Complex located in Ogden, Utah. The goal of this procurement process is to bid document preparation and construction aka Design, Bid, Build. Funds have been allocated for document preparation. In addition to providing document preparation the Proposer must be able to address specific County needs such as future technology needs, public areas, storage, industry trends, restrooms, and inmate programming areas. These needs are based on criteria that must be met in order to exceed industry standards and prepare for the future. More specifically, it is envisioned that the Project will involve bringing the Weber County Sheriff's Office into the modern age with proper medical and mental health facilities to provide appropriate care for the inmate population as well as increase efficiency of inmate movement and provide exceptional security. Overall, the County is seeking experienced, talented, innovative, and accomplished teams that can assist the County in carrying out the above described Project.
