The work to be performed under the provisions of these contract documents consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, installation, dewatering and traffic control needed to construct the shaping of a drainage borrow ditches, storm sewers, paving & grading, and all related appurtenances for the construction of the Port Isabel. Furnishing all materials, supplies, labor and equipment necessary for the construction of the PORT ISABEL - SAN BENITO NAVIGATION DISTRICT, 2022 PORT ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, in accordance with the plans and specifications on file at the Port Isabel San Benito Navigation District office. Major items of work consist of installing 3 inch to 5 inch HMAC Overly Pavement, RCP drainage pipes and drainage inlets. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additional alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner, nor Engineer, will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Questions received after 5:00 PM, Monday, October 24, 2022, Questions received may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding.
