Renovation of a mixed-use development in Elmhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,700-square-foot educational facility; and theater / auditorium.
Project Description: International Contractors, Inc. (ICI), as the Construction Manager for Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 invites you to submit a bid on renovations of a High School Auditorium at York High School located in Elmhurst, IL. Scope of work includes a 10,000 sf remodel of the existing Auditorium: re-sloping of house floor, new seating, new concrete ramp and stage stair, new acoustically-rated entrances, new painting and flooring, new rigging system, new pit platform and orchestra shell, new stage lighting, curtains, and replacement of house lighting in a 10,000 sf space. Work is scheduled to begin June 2023 and complete January 2024. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 22, 2022 - 3:30 pm at York High School, 355 West St. Charles Road, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126. PLEASE NOTE: All Contractors that plan on attending must present a valid Driver's License or State ID to gain access to the school at this time. Sealed bids with a 10% bid bond are due no later than: Tuesday, December 6, 2022 - 2:00 pm to the attention of Mr. Todd Schmidt, Director of Facilities, Elmhurst CUSD 205, 162 South York Street, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 12-2-2022.
