The following is a list of tasks required to do this work. Consultants preparing a SOQ should elaborate on these tasks, including their interrelationship, within their SOQ. 1. Review Land Survey Records Demonstrate an understanding of land conveyance laws Review and provide comments for parcel maps, tract maps, records of survey, lot line adjustments, corner records, and conditional use permits 2. Provide Surveying and Base Mapping The Consultant shall perform topographic surveys and base mapping for a project corridor, as is adequate for the full design of a project. Surveying includes all ground surveys, record data search and right-of-way mapping. Ground surveys may include, but not be limited to the following; all curb, gutter, sidewalk, edge of pavement (or road), berms, walls, structures, existing bridge features, fencing, trees with diameter greater than 4 inches, landscaping (including yard drainage directions), ditches, culverts, grade breaks, any existing pavement striping or markings, storm drain manholes or inlets, sanitary sewer manholes or cleanouts, water valves or meters, fire hydrants, gas valves, all underground or overhead utility facilities within the limits described below, and all other topographic features needed for design. Contour intervals will be one foot. The width of road surveys shall be up to 150 centered on the existing centerline of road. In addition, the survey shall include 300 along all intersecting streets with a width of 100. Existing right of way boundaries and property lines will be included on the base map. Additionally, include any quarter-crown or grade breaks in the travelled way. Cross sections in channels and waterways will be required for bridge projects. The Consultant shall provide permanent horizontal and vertical survey control to be used for construction staking of the project in an AutoCAD DWG file compatible with Civil3D 2022. The Consultant shall also provide a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) in an XML file along with Topo Points. The Consultant shall perform boundary surveys and research for right of way identification and acquisition and boundary surveys for townships The Consultant shall perform quality assurance and quantity calculation surveys for construction and control surveys for design and construction The Consultant shall prepare record of surveys 3. Provide Oversight and Training for Field Surveying and Land Survey Record Review The above is a partial list of tasks. It is the proposers responsibility to expand upon this list with additional surveyor services and clearly define the tasks required to successfully complete the project. Commercial General Liability - $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate Automobile Liability - $1,000,000 per accident Workers Compensation - $1,000,000 per accident Professional Liability - $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate Proposers are not required to purchase the required insurance in order to respond; however, all required insurance will need to be submitted prior to contract award.
