The Wheeling Township Board of Trustees, Belmont County, Ohio will be seeking sealed bids for a road repair project known as McConnell Road Slope Repair . It is located on Township Road 427, McConnell Road. This project consists of reconstructing approximately 90 linear feet of McConnell Road and installing gabion baskets. As part of this repair effort, approximately 68 linear feet of TR 427 will be stabilized. The following clarification has been issued: The Township has not expressed a specific route for access. The road can be closed as long as the planned closure is communicated to the Township. There is a bid item for signage. A full detour plan is not needed due to the road not being well traveled and only having a couple residences on it.
