**As of December 14, 2022, project was awarded to FlexGround Surfaces, Inc, awarded amount is $44,301.73.** The City of Lincoln, through the Department of Public Works, is inviting sealed bids proposals for the Brown Park Matting Replacement Project. The work elements comprise: Base Bid Item • Mobilization and installation of temporary fencing • Remove and dispose of the rubberized play surface section • Over-ex and disposal of base material, to accommodate finished grade (top of surrounding concrete sidewalk) for wood chips and meet the 12-inch depth requirement for fall-zones • Grade base material to drain to drains, compact base material, and place filter fabric on top of compacted base material • Remove Fencing and Clean Work Area The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, implements, methods, and processes which are required to complete the work in a good and workmanlike manner. Incidental items of construction necessary to complete the entire work satisfactorily and acceptably as shown on the Plans and as provided for in the Specifications and not specifically referred to in this section, shall be understood to be furnished by the Contractor.
