The City of Enterprise, Alabama is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the complete removal and abatement of asbestos and other hazardous materials as identified in the report from Poly, Inc. dated October 20, 2021, included with the bid packet. All quotations should be submitted on the bid form. Bidders are requested to fill out the bid using black or blue ink or typed. Project Description: Contractor to provide all manpower and equipment necessary for the complete removal and abatement of asbestos and other hazardous materials in the project construction area as outlined in the report from Poly, Inc. dated October 20, 2021. The Successful Bidder shall submit the required pre-abatement 10-day notification to ADEM and provide Owner with proof of notification immediately upon submittal. Bids must be submitted on the proposal form furnished with the Bid Documents. All bidders must show evidence of state contracting license before bidding or THE BID WILL NOT BE RECEIVED OR CONSIDERED. The bidders shall show evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The bid number of 2022-06 and the bid opening date must appear on the outside of the envelope. The City of Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to make an award in the best interest of the City of Enterprise. No oral, telephonic, telegraph proposals, modifications or alternate bids will be considered. Standard Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds apply. All proposals will be valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the published bid date.
