Sealed BIDS will be received by the Village of Glendale for the Water Meters and Advanced Metering Infrastructure System Procurement Project. The work consists of furnishing water meters and meter transmission units (MTUs) to be installed by the Bidder and furnishing and setting up drive-by automatic meter reading compatible with AMPSTUN billing system. Approximately 1,055 meters shall be furnished under this Contract. Bidders shall accompany their BIDS with a Bid Guaranty in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the maximum amount bid or a Certified Check or Cashiers Check for 10% of the bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the bid date and in accordance with ORC 153.54. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governors Executive Order of 1972, and Governors Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in section 153.001 of the revised code apply to this project. Copies of section 153.001 of the revised code can be obtained from any of the offices of the department of administrative services. (sec. 153.011 (e).) The Village of Glendale reserves the right to reject any and all bids, delete any portion or portions thereof or to waive any irregularities in the bidding. Project requirements for this contract shall be completed within 270 days after the date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed. Said contract will be let to the lowest and the best bidder.
