Uwchlan Township will receive bids for the Ted Gacomis Senior Park Project. The Contract involves, but is not limited to: Removal of existing paved driveway, removal of 28 wooden posts, excavating and grading, installation of 2 Concrete Pickleball Courts (incl. chain link fence, net and paint), 2 Concrete Bocce Ball Courts, 335 SY asphalt trail, 394 LF of 6 ft high decorative aluminum fence, install multi-person swing (supplied by others), 4 pieces of outdoor exercise equipment and 2 game tables all of which on concrete pads, install 4 pieces of outdoor exercise equipment in poured in place safety surface area surrounded with concrete border, 16 ft pre-fab pavilion with subgrade preparation, 30 steel bollards, trash can, Dogipot sign, trench and remove/replace inlet and pipe across driveway, install stormwater management stone infiltration systems, eleven (11) benches, install erosion & sedimentation controls, seeding and mulching of disturbed areas. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workers employed on this project, are incorporated in the Contract Documents. Bidders are advised that they must comply with all State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. Bidders are also advised that Uwchlan Township may only enter into Contracts with Responsible Contractors, therefore all bidders will provide written certification that they have not been disbarred or suspended from working on local, state, or federal projects. Uwchlan Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any or all Bids submitted; and also, reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.
