Construction of the Orange City Main Water Plant Greensand Filter (DW64204) The City of Orange City is accepting sealed proposals from qualified Contractors for B140-0-2021; Construction of the Green Sand Filter, Main Water Plant for DW642051. The City of Orange City, Florida is accepting sealed bids to competitively select a qualified licensed CONTRACTOR to provide construction services associated with ITB B177-0-2022/DRS as specified by the Technical Manual and Construction Plans associated with this project. This is a grant-funded project utilizing State Revolving Funds (SRF) obligated through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and subject to audit under all Federal, State and City requirements that apply. This project involves the construction of City of Orange City Main Water Plant Green Sand Filter (DW64204). Scope includes but is not limited to: Materials, labor, installation, assembly, start-up, start-up supplies and incidentals for the for construction of a complete working system including but not limited to: Addition of a Green Sand Filtration System (equipment pre-purchased by the City), including integration to existing Main Water Plant infrastructure; Permanganate Contact Chamber; Reclaimed storage tank (pre-purchased by the City and installed by the tank vendor); Piping and supports, Building and foundation, Equipment pads, Shelters, Site work, Electrical, Instrumentation, SCADA communications; Chemical Analyzers; Chemical Injection System ,Chemical Storage Room/Tanks; and Hydraulic Pumps. Weekly certified payrolls and statements of compliance from the Contractor and all Subcontractors will be required throughout construction.
