Renovation of a mixed-use development in Georgetown, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Exterior Renovation project including window replacement, new sheathing, air/vapor barrier, wall cladding, synthetic stucco repair, exterior painting, and gutters and downspouts. Location- 22 Hobcaw Road Georgetown, South Carolina 29440 The scope of work is limited to the east elevation of the building. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with Hand-Delivery or electronically -Service only. Small and Minority business participation is highly encouraged. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Est.Cost- $ 450,000 to $ 550,000 The project will encompass the envelope renovation of an existing structure known as the Hobcaw Research Facility/Hobcaw Marine Field Laboratory located at 22 Hobcaw Road on the campus of Hobcaw Barony in Georgetown, SC. The building was constructed in 1991-92. An addition was added in 2002. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Exterior envelope repair of the East Elevation. The project has been divided into two phases. The 2022 project will include Phase Two Construction Only. Phase One was completed in 2021. Components of enveloperenovation include: replacement of all windows, siding, trim, new sheathing, new flashing, air/moisture barrier, drainage mat, synthetic stucco repair, installation of new gutter and downspouts, and exterior painting.
