Separate bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Bid Documents prepared by the Engineer, Quad Three Group, 37 N. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701, (570) 829-4200. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified/Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Bid subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening unless noted otherwise and remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening. Bidders must comply with all State anti-bid rigging regulations pertaining to Work associated with this Project, and Bidders will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act (the "Act") which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act No. 222. Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age, or sex. The Bid Proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Olyphant Borough Manager's Office, Olyphant Municipal Building, 113 Willow Avenue, Olyphant, PA 18447 and the envelope shall be plainly marked with the following wording: "Corporate Way 12.47KV Aerial Line Construction-Bid Package" Olyphant Borough reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted.
