Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Justin, Texas. Working plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of December 5,2022 “The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.” The District shall select, via a two-step method, Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager at Risk for Administration and Former Hatfield Addition and Renovations The project scope of work will consist of major demolition, building addition and renovation to the existing NISD Administration Building and existing NISD Hatfield Elementary School consisting of approximately 130,000 to 140,000 gross square feet. Site work shall also include parking improvements, landscape and hardscape improvements, and utility relocation and upgrades. Construction will likely be completed in phases. To minimize the construction impact on an active job site, the project will be split up into multiple phases. New Additions will be prioritized in the early phases to create swing space for occupants to use while existing spaces are being renovated, helping to reduce the number of displaced programs at both campuses during construction.
