Site work for a civil project in Bland, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Bland County Service Authority seeks professional engineering services for the design and construction for the proposed Bland County Route 52-Waddletown Road Waterline Extension Project, which will provide drinking water access to over 100 residential users along Route 52 and Waddletown Road as well as provide clean drinking water to the Big Walker Tunnel facility (maintained and operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation). The project includes approximately 40,000 LF of 8-inch waterline, (1) pump station, and (1) 150,000-gallon ground storage tank. These services shall include but are not limited to design, project management, funding coordination, phase planning, surveying, and easement acquisition, permitting, construction administration, and construction inspection. Bland County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
