Renovation of a municipal facility in Centreville, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Replace an air handler unit on the roof of MDOT SHA Centerville Maintenance Shop with a 15-ton variable air volume unit. Provide evacuation of existing R22 from old unit. Provide crane and rigging to lift old unit off roof and position new unit on the roof. Provide proper transition curb if required, to match new unit to existing roof curb. Modify Electric and ductwork as needed to accommodate the new unit into existing ductwork and electrical systems. Please find additional specifications in section IX Scope of Contractor Services. There is no Pre- Bid Conference scheduled for this solicitation. Bids, requests for withdraws, and modifications not received by the time and at the place indicated are late and may only be considered in accordance with COMAR 21.05.02.10. This solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with COMAR 21.05.07 - Small Procurement Regulations ($50,000 or Less). Oral, fax, telegraphic, mailgram or E-mail bids will not be accepted. The sole point of contact for purposes of this IFB is Mr. Troy Sisco. The Procurement Officer, Keith Rhodes, may be contacted at telephone number 410-758-0700 between 7:00 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. or by FAX 410-758-3014. NOTE: The vendor is solely responsible for ensuring any information sent to the Procurement Officer by FAX has been received by the Procurement Officer. The Contractor shall submit a detailed invoice for each on-site visit to the responsible Engineer. The invoice shall indicate the contract number, the billing number, the date of performance, and the quantities of each item provided. The invoice shall be sent within five business days of each on-site visit to the following email address. Only vendors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract. Refer to Attachment No. II for further information regarding this program. The duration / term of the contract is 6 months.
