A timeline or award has not yet been established.** Manufacture and install a new three-court air structure that replaces an existing air structure at the Town of Herndons Bready Park. This construction shall include new interior lighting, mechanical and electrical systems, and other identified repairs. In addition, on six existing tennis courts including the three courts under the air structure, provide a cushioned hard court ProBounce surface or equivalent mat consisting of free-floating fiber pavement, cold-applied, water-based resin coatings and natural aggregates resulting in a monolithic overlay that is completely detached from the underlying surface bridging large structural cracks. This construction also removes the entire existing court net system and installs new footings, sleeves, posts, and nets with adjustable center straps on all six courts. All questions concerning the project shall be submitted by email to the attention of the Project Engineer of Public Works at publicworks@herndon-va.gov . This office is the only point where information will be disseminated. All questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 08, 2022. Bid Security must accompany each proposal in accordance with Instruction to Bidders. Bids shall be binding for sixty (60) days. The Town of Herndon reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the town. Work shall not start prior to August 1, 2023.
