Renovation of a parking garage in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The Work is a part of the Project, which comprises the following: .1 Thin traffic deck coating enhancement at Level P1 drive aisle and corner locations (base of entrance/exit ramp and first drive aisle corner), as designated on Drawings. Includes all required surface cleaning and preparation, crack and joint detailing, new sealant materials, and termination details. .2 Thin traffic deck coating removal and replacement at Level P1 curb areas, as designated on Drawings. Includes all required surface cleaning and preparation, crack and joint detailing, new sealant materials, and termination details. .3 Thin traffic deck coating application at mechanical unit areas, where suspended slab is currently exposed. Includes all required surface cleaning and preparation, crack and joint detailing, new sealant materials, and termination details. .4 Application of new thin traffic deck coating materials at Level P2 block wall bases and localized foundation wall locations, at areas where deterioration is present. Includes localized repairs to the block wall structure, where block courses are deteriorated, required surface cleaning and preparation, crack and joint detailing, new sealant materials, and termination details. .5 Localized structural concrete delamination repairs at Level P1 slab surface and soffit areas, at areas located within and below thin traffic deck coating enhancement. .6 Removal and replacement of damaged and deteriorated floor drains, where designated on Drawings. Includes required thin traffic deck coating repairs for Level P1 drains, and required excavation and compaction requirements for Level P2 drain, as well as all required concrete removal and replacement at designated floor drain areas. .7 Removal and replacement of corroded steel frames at slab-on-grade sump pits and associated concrete repairs. Includes temporary removal, storage, and reinstallation of any wall-mounted equipment present within sump pits (to allow for associated concrete repairs). .8 Removal and replacement of waterproof SBS membrane where presently damaged at entrance/exit ramp's south and north curbs, where designated. Includes all required surface preparation, detailing, terminations, and new flashing and sealant materials at repair areas (as required). .9 Localized repairs to drainage piping guard supports (within curb area at Level P1) where deteriorated. Includes paint to match existing. .10 Foundation wall crack injection repairs at areas of on-going leakage, where designated. Includes removal of injection ports and painting to match existing .11 Removal of localized corrosion product at embedded steel soldier piles and application of a zinc-rich paint, where designated. Includes all required surface preparation. .12 Removal and replacement of a localized section of trench drain grating where spanning in wrong direction. .13 Parking stall line painting at areas affected by the Work (generally to match existing layout). .14 Allowances for multiple work phases, construction hoarding, and dust control measures in order to maintain partial pedestrian and vehicle access through parking structure during work. Award amount was not released for publication.
