No bids received and no plan to rebid. The total contract price of this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary for the complete and satisfactory performance as determined in the sole discretion of the Town. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in form of a certified check, cashier's check, or security bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. This contract has been written in conformance with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES Edition. Additional supplemental specifications have been added where applicable and will govern in the contract. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of 45 days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the M.G.L. c.149, 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid Opening to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades' people who may be employed for the proposed work under this Contract. The Bidding and Award of this Contract will be pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. The Owner reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
